The Arts Society Windlebrook

The Arts Society Windlebrook (formerly NADFAS) meets in the Windlesham Club and Theatre at 2pm on the third Thursday of each month, except August, to enjoy a talk by one of the Arts Society’s 280 Accredited Lecturers.  These talks are hugely varied: one month it can be on Medieval Castles and the next on jewellery and fashion worn in Downton Abbey; ‘A Brief History of Wine’ can be another topic whilst ‘Caravaggio – Murderer or Genius?’ might follow the next month.  The talks last around one hour and are preceded by coffee and biscuits.

You will need to be a member of TAS Windlebrook if you wish to access these informative and entertaining talks which at the moment are being beamed to members by Zoom.  We are hoping to return to the Windlesham Club and Theatre in the next few months but nothing is fixed yet.

When further restrictions are lifted, there will be days out, by coach, to Houses, Gardens and places of interest usually within a one hour’s drive. We also hold social occasion Summer and Christmas lunches.

We are always looking for, and welcome, new members, so please look at our website www.theartssocietywindlebrook.org.uk where you will find all the details you need to know.  The Membership Secretary is listed together with a membership form.
