The Scout Group of Windlesham has been serving the children of the village for nearly 75 years.
During this time the village has changed from the traditional small community within Windsor Great Park to the modern vibrant village of today.
The Scouting movement has also evolved along with the village and become the largest volunteering group in the world with over 34 million young Scouts.
1st Windlesham Scout Group
The Windlesham Scout Group is now in desperate need of adult leaders, both uniform and non uniform. Without sufficient leaders the group cannot function and may have to consider closing, not an option we want to consider.
We are also in need of Executive Committee members and a Quartermaster.
What does it take to be part of the group? 2 hours per week is usually the average time required to support the children and the programs. There are some camps and district activities throughout the year. Training is provided by the Scout Association.
